Message from your Legal Team

This is your legal team at Everytown Law, Bonner & Bonner and Ryder Law with an update on the lawsuit arising from the Tops Market shooting. In November, a retired judge (Judge Fahey) will start the process of deciding how to divide up the limited settlement money that a few of the defendants (Mean LLC and the shooter’s parents) have preliminarily agreed to pay to end the lawsuit against them. We need to submit a short-written summary describing what happened to you and how you have been affected. Your attorneys will begin meeting with you this week, through the weekend, and into mid-week of next week, to review the information we already have and take down any additional information we may need for your statement. It is important that you Click the button below now to respond to this message and indicate your best day and time slot of availability for a phone call or Zoom meeting. Looking ahead, we also strongly recommend that you come to the courthouse in Buffalo, in mid-November, to meet with Judge Fahey to describe what you experienced and how it has affected you. We are still trying to confirm the dates for those in-person meetings, but it looks like they may occur on Nov. 13th and 14th. Please help us help you make sure Judge Fahey understands what you endured and how you have been affected. We need to know your availability for the Zoom. Thank you!
